Moroccan Rhassoul Clay Soap

$11.00 AUD

Handmade Scented Soap with Moroccan Rhassoul Clay

This is our Moroccan Rhassoul Clay Soap. Moroccan Rhassoul, a natural clay found only in the Moroccan mountains in North Africa, is well-known for its moisture-retaining properties. When you use it, the water from your shower or bath will be absorbed by the clay in the soap and you will see it glistening as it rehydrates. It will clean away the dirt from the day and leave your skin feeling beautifully moisturised.
This soap can be used in the shower or bath or everyday to wash your hands. You can also use it for washing your hair as it will cleanse away any dirt or oils and leave your scalp moisturised. (We've only tested it on non-chemically treated hair, so are not able to advise use for coloured or treated hair, sorry.)
It is hand crafted, using only the finest ingredients, in small batches for strict quality control. The soft creamy lather is perfect for everyday luxury, while the refreshing scent combination of Sweet Orange, Fennel and Black Pepper is a great pick-me-up.

Meet the Maker
Barb. Lives in Katunga, VIC. It all started with a book... specifically a book I found on how to clean your home with natural ingredients. This quickly led to learning how to make skin-care products with only natural ingredients - once I started making these, my skin cleared up, and it felt so much softer and more hydrated. I then looked into making my own soaps and discovered how rewarding these are to make; I love that I can choose and control the ingredients used and that each one is good for our skin in a different way. Oatmeal is moisturising and can reduce/soothe inflammation, Coconut Oil is great for gentle cleaning while also moisturising and soothing inflammation, Olive oil is rich in antioxidants and can protect against premature aging, to mention only a few. I believe that it's time we got back to doing things the way they've always been done, and using ingredients our ancestors would recognise, instead of harsh, harmful chemicals. Homemade soaps also smell and feel so much better than commercially produced ones!
